Eddie for Windows

A notch for Windows.

Windows PCs have no notch, so Eddie brings its own: a black island at the edge of your desktop, like the iPhone’s Dynamic Island. It taps you when Claude Code or Codex needs you, and holds your clipboard, music, focus timer and sales.

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit · free to install, activated with one key · the same key works on Mac

Everything, one hover away.

The island sits at the edge of your screen and opens when you hover it. Clicks everywhere else go straight to the app underneath.

Agents

Live status for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI. When one needs permission, the notch lights up and you can allow it right there.

Costs

What each Claude Code session cost today, at API list prices, read from its own local logs.

Clipboard

Your last five clips with real previews. Passwords from password managers are skipped.

Focus

A pomodoro timer beside the notch, and guided stretches when the break comes.

Music

What’s playing, with play, pause and skip, without switching apps.

Sales

Today’s sales from Stripe, Dodo or Polar. A new one peeks out the moment it lands.

Vitals

CPU and memory health, live, and the app working hardest when your machine is cooking.

Eddie

A small mascot who lives in the notch: he drops down when an agent needs you and reminds you to stretch.

Pick a spot in Settings → Island, shrink it to a tiny pill when it’s closed, and set the closed and open sizes.

Install it in a minute.

1. Buy a key for $4.67, once; it arrives by email from Dodo Payments. 2. Install Eddie for Windows free from the Microsoft Store. 3. Enter the key in Eddie, then connect Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI in Settings.

A borderless fullscreen game or video hides the island. Maximized windows don’t. Your settings, notes and clips stay in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Eddie and your key in Windows Credential Manager.

Questions.

The Microsoft Store says Free. Do I need to buy Eddie?

Installing is free. Eddie is activated with a license key: buy one for $4.67 at editz.pro, type it into Eddie and you’re set. It’s the same key and price as on the Mac.

Which Windows versions does it support?

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, on desktops and laptops.

How do agent hooks work on Windows?

Connect an agent in Settings and Eddie adds its hooks to that agent’s config under %USERPROFILE%. Hooks load when a session starts, so restart sessions that were already open. Disconnecting removes them.

Is it a Dynamic Island for Windows?

In spirit, yes: a black island at the edge of your desktop that grows into a panel when you hover it, and peeks out for alerts.

Will it cover my apps?

No. Clicks outside the island go to the app underneath, and fullscreen games, videos and slideshows hide it.

Does my Mac key work on Windows?

Yes. One key covers the Macs and Windows PCs you personally use.
